Our story
In 2007, this wellness path of healing became our calling, listening intently to the narratives of stress and disconnect in lonely, vulnerable populations. Each person is different and deserves to be closely listened to and valued. Our technique is to draw from our life experiences, decades of teaching, crisis intervention negotiating, grief mental health coaching, a doctoral degree in clinical pastoral psychotherapy, and our faith to usher in high quality care and a new path of wellness for you!
What makes Mentora Wellness unique?
perspective
We view mental health and the need for coaching through a wellness
lens and not a "fix it" model. You may have lost who you want to be in your day-to-day struggles. We believe you are capable of developing healthy relationships to yourself and others. Through your honesty we nurture you to find the best version of yourself- mind, body, and spirit!
Location
Part of Our wellness model is offering good guidance through relationships beyond the brick and mortar clinical experiences: in action at the Kroc Center, while sipping lattes at the Innovation Den, or meeting virtually. (Our preference is to meet in person when possible)
Technique
People are not mechanical; therefore, we don't "fix" anyone. The human brain has
high plasticity, with a growth mindset to embrace a new way. We offer to help you untangle the self-similar repeating patterns of discouragement to co-author a new future.
